MINT returned to LB Skybar on Sunday afternoon, bringing house music, live art, and one of Baltimore’s most stylish crowds back to the rooftop for another installment of the summer series created by Shep of Coffee Club and Reid Jaxson of Café Disco.
High above the city, the rooftop view provided the backdrop for an afternoon that felt equal parts dance party, art show, and fashion gathering. DJs Fox and KayAura supplied the soundtrack as guests moved freely between conversations, cocktails, and the dance floor.
Live art remained a focal point throughout the event. Artists worked on pieces in real time as guests stopped to watch, check in on their progress, and discuss the work taking shape. The creative element added another layer to the experience and reinforced the event’s connection to Baltimore’s arts community.
MINT’s invitation describes the dance floor as the runway, and attendees appeared to take the directive seriously. Sequined shorts caught the late afternoon sun. Flowing prints moved through the crowd. Vintage accessories, statement jewelry, and sculptural silhouettes appeared throughout the rooftop, each contributing to the event’s distinctly fashionable atmosphere.
Baltimore’s summer calendar is packed with rooftop events, but MINT continues to carve its own lane. House music, live art, and personal style share equal billing, creating an atmosphere that feels both curated and relaxed. That balance reflects the laid-back creative vision of founders Shep and Reid Jaxson, who have built MINT around the intersection of music, visual art, and personal style.
As the afternoon stretched into evening, the crowd showed little interest in leaving. The dance floor remained active, conversations continued across the rooftop, and artists added final touches to their work beneath clear skies and warm sunlight.
For a few hours on Sunday, MINT once again transformed a downtown rooftop into one of Baltimore’s most stylish gathering places, bringing together the people, creativity, and energy that have helped make the series a standout on the city’s summer social calendar.
